Paralegal at The Wagner Law Firm
Heather McCoy is Harley Wagner’s office manager, paralegal, and do-it-all employee who has worked for and alongside Harley for the past 19 years. She is “like family” to Harley, and, if it is not Harley you are communicating with about your case, it will always be Heather. In short, she runs the ship at The Wagner Law Firm.
Heather is a 1998 graduate of Musselman High School in Berkeley County, West Virginia. Her legal experience and interest in criminal/DUI law began when she worked part-time in the Berkeley County court system at the magistrate court level while she was still in high school. In February of 1998, Heather took her first job in the legal field as a secretary for a Martinsburg-based criminal defense firm. It was then that Heather developed not only a genuine interest in criminal/DUI law but paralegal work as well. In an effort to pursue her goal of becoming a certified paralegal, Heather went to night school while she worked full-time. She proudly received her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Paralegal Studies in 2002 from Hagerstown Business College in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Personally, Heather’s parents reside in Berkeley County, West Virginia. Like Harley, spending time with her family is something Heather greatly enjoys, which also includes her beloved dogs “Meesha” and “Bella” and her equally beloved cat, “Bubbles.”
